Wine Description

Ripe and ready, with a rich, syrupy nose. Just right on the palate, where bold dark-fruit flavors are supported by lively tannins and just enough acid. Spice and coffee on the finish, with ample oak.

Aromas of dark fruit & green pepper. the wine had flavor of sour cherry & blackberry followed by wood & chocolate. very firm tannins & the wine seems 2 need some time for aging.

this wine needs ample time to breathe. very strong nose of dark cherry. hints of currant and oak, a bit spicy, but strong... if you don't let it sit.

(2014 Vintage) There's minerally freshness to the ripe dark plum, blackberry and cherry flavors, with peppery hints. Well-structured and crisp midpalate, featuring Asian spice and black fig notes on the finish.

(2006 Vintage) Bright purple. Sexy, oak-spiced raspberry and blackberry aromas offer the clarity, intensity and visceral appeal of a $50 Napa wine; subtle floral and herbal qualities build with air. Fleshy and sweet, with deep dark berry liqueur flavors, no obvious tannins and a long, sappy finish. For fans of lush, jammy, fruit-driven wines, this is an absolute no-brainer.
