Marqués de Cáceres Rioja Reserva

Wine Details

Wine Description

Dark ruby red in color, with refined notes of spices and wild blackberries. Pleasant fullness in the mouth with body and ripe tannins that blend with luscious fruit and toasted notes. Good length on the palate with nice complexity, the freshness of the fruit balances this wine’s structure that will become even more elegant with further ageing in bottle.

Dark ruby color. Intense and complex bouquet combining fruits of the forest and a hint of spice, with a slight depth of floral notes. Dense and delicious in the mouth, where exquisite tannins reveal refined toasted notes acquired from select oak. Balanced complexity and rich flavors provide good length and tempt a pleasant tasting experience. A splendid bottle to marry with savory fish dishes, such as fresh tuna in spicy tomato sauce, refined delicatessen products (chorizo, salami), all kinds of beef (roasted, stewed or grilled), foie gras, duck partridge, game and mature cheese.

Attractive color, somewhere between garnet red and black, conforming good structure. Intense, very fragrant bouquet, changing from blackberries and blackcurrants with a depth of raspberry to soft spice that confers richness. Very elegant on tasting with delicious fruit flavours, seasoned by rounded, lively tannins. Pleasant fullness on the palate with nice vivacity and good length. An enjoyable wine to keep in mind.

(2012 Vintage) Black cherry, currant and floral notes are expressive and alluring, balanced by loamy earth, tobacco and mineral elements that add a savory quality. Firm, well-integrated tannins give support to the polished texture, while orange peel acidity fuels the fresh finish. Drink now through 2027. 10,000 cases imported.–TM
