Tasting Notes: Appearance: Deep purple ruby, semi-opaque. Aromas: Blackberry, raspberry, loganberry, fruity dark chocolate and hints of sweet spice. On the tongue the powerful body is marbled and wrapped in plush icing. The liqueur chocolate flavors reverberate decadent tones before the lights go out.
(From 2010 Vintage) The wine is incredibly layered and richer than in past years. Bold spice, black plums, dark chocolate, mocha and cherries and black berries abound with a hint of red soil and a faint trace of anise with layers of spice box. Loaded with glycerol mouth feel and capped off with a long creamy finish that just hangs on your palate.

Wine & SpiritsRating: 90/100 - As reviewed by Wine & Spirits Magazine on 10/09. The name gives it away. This is a rich, superripe wine that emphasizes its plush texture, layering fig, blueberry, sweet oak and black pepper in a finish that lasts.
