(2012 Vintage) From cool American Canyon and Carneros vineyards in the southern tip of Napa Valley, this classically styled wine that doesn’t undergo malolactic fermentation, preserving its natural acidity. Fermented and aged 10 months in French oak.

    (2007 Vintage) The dry, woody, almost ashy first notes in this wine's aromas are joined by just enough ripe apple fruit to keep things near to the expected track, and the wine's early flavors on the palate repeat the favor. In the finish, however, the wine runs into bothersome sharp and sour elements and falls apart.
