Vibrant Red Fruit now with fine aromatic penetration. Drink now to 2015 The 2008 from Barroche opens up with raspberries, some strawberries, garrigue and crushed stone - quite frankly it's easily recognisable as Barroche. Trademark pure fruit but not without complexity. Drinking gives more of the same and it ends with a very nice licorice twist. But compared with 2007 this is weaker, doesn't have the creamy fruit, and the length feels a little bit like alcohol more than true length. The components come tumbling down one by one instead of sitting together. The tannins suggest this will get better with time, but it will not approach the 2007.
