(2008 Vintage) The 2008 Stump Jump Red has a nose of ripe and juicy red fruits and fresh plums mixed with dark cherry, rhubarb and cardamon. The palate is soft and generous, with juicy fresh red berries, mulberry and a hint of pomegranate. Underlying is a more subtle layer of plum stone, star anise and cinnamon which adds complexity and interest, with soft powdery tannins to finish.
(2008 Vintage) Inviting fresh plum aromas leap out of the glass with raspberry and pretty pot-pourri notes providing more complexity. The palate is juicy and spicy with an abundance of red fruits that are fresh and vibrant. Licorice and rose petals come through on the mid palate and an under-lying earthy complexity is evident all the way through. The tannins are powdery and subtle on this juicy ready to drink red.
delightful Shiraz. light on the palate, yet not at all lacking in depth. smooth aromas of berries and light grapes, and a light blend to bring you down under with every taste. rich flavor with a meade finish, earn this wine a spot in the cellar.
great nose, rocio says it smells like an earthy strawberry that hasn't been washed yet, maybe some plum and cherries; super smooth and velvety, lots of flavor, very drinkable, not a very long finish but tremendous value
just smoked so... hints of berry, mellow, oaky, slight sweetness, soft pup pup at my side. finishes a little sour
very fruit forward with well integrated oak. well balanced and velvety. slight tobacco on the palate.
excellent companion to fancy pizza (bocconcini/proscuitto). not too sweet, but sweeter after.
solid. no bite. no bitter. keeps it's flavor thru day 2 well
drink with roasted lamb or chops drinkable thru 2015
Good drinking wine, a little sharp but full flavor

International Wine Cellar(2005 Vintage) Dark red. Fresh dark berries and flowers on the nose, with a complicating note of black pepper. Supple cherry and dark berry flavors are supple and bright. The finish is round, soft and gentle, with good sweetness of blackberry fruit and baking spices. There were 20,000 cases imported, so you won't have to look too far for this great value.
Wine Spectator(2009 Vintage) "Light and lively, with pretty floral apple flavors at the fore, remaining on the finish with hints of grapefruit and spice in a refreshing style. Riesling, Marsanne and Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now. 5,000 cases imported."
