Wine Description

(From 2011 Vintage) Dark red. Sexy, perfumed aromas of red berries, Asian spices and potpourri. Juicy and light on its feet, offering precise redcurrant and bitter cherry flavors that gain sweetness with air. Silky and expansive on the finish, which leaves star anise and candied rose notes behind.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2012 Vintage) The 2012 Tous Ensemble Pinot Noir is a blend of fruit harvested from several parcels within the Anderson Valley. The delicately perfumed aromatics of spice and floral notes frame the soft supple body with flavors of just-ripened red fruits and rich earth. Bright acidity carries through for an elegant finish. Enjoy now or within five years.

Ruby color, light nose, hint of dark fruit. Taste is initially soft, but disappointing finish, dominated by heat and single note of burnt caramel/cherry.
