(2008 Vintage) Fine fruit and texture. Generous but elegant at the same time. Has the class of top years. A consistent performer.
92 Wine Advocate ReviewRated 90+This powerful, tannic, dense blue/purple-hued St.-Emilion will handsomely repay those with patience. It offers up a tight but promising nose of smoke, meats, creosote, black currants, blueberries, and cold, wet steel. A masculine, stern effort with a certain austerity, abundant tannin, and superb depth, purity, and richness, it should be at its peak between 2015-2025.
