(From 2009 Vintage) Our 2009 Mountain Cuvee shows the appealing depth and nuance of a true Bordeaux blend. The aromas offer a complex mélange of spicy red fruit, rum raison, cedar, sweet tobacco, clove, cinnamon, dark chocolate and bay leaf. On the palate, the texture is smooth and lush, with lingering flavors of sweet cherry and plum. Though there is ample weight and richness, elegance is really the theme of this complex and balanced wine.
(From 2011 Vintage) The nose offers beautiful layers of baked cherry, black- berry, cassis, chocolate, cola and anise, with hints of cedar and fresh herbs adding Bordeaux-like complexity. On the palate, plum and cherry flavors mingle with sweet oak, cocoa and baking spices. While supple tannins and a smooth, lingering texture make this wine immediately pleasurable, its mountain roots give it the structure to gain additional depth and complexity with cellaring.

Wine Buyer(From 2007 Vintage) Vibrant aromas of blackberry, black cherry, dried fruit, and baking spices jump from the glass. In the mouth the wine is rich in dark fruit flavors, with hints of mocha and roasted coffee beans. Full, fairly big tannins are well integrated in the body and fruit character.
