(2003 Vintage) Gabbiano Chianti DOCG is primarily Sangiovese blended with Canaiolo, Malvasia, and Trebbiano grapes. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged in the traditional oak casks for six months. This is a cherry-red wine with raspberry, blackberry and spice flavors. Its bold, firm tannins complement rich and spicy Italian foods beautifully.
