91 Points International Wine Cellar "Dark purple. Sexy aromas of blackberry, mulberry and violet, plus a strong note of incense. Deeply pitched dark fruit preserve flavors are given an exotic character by notes of candied flowers and star anise. Supple and expansive on the finish, lingerings with impressive tenacity and length. The fancy barrels used here come from Alto Moncayo." winemaker's notes: Deep cherry color. Remarkably complex bouquet with hints of dark fruit and roasted balsamic notes. Warm and friendly on the palate, with soft but persistent tannins in perfect balance with the alcohol. alcohol by volume: 14.5% critical acclaim:

no acidity, deep berry tastes. overall smooth start, middle and finish. ironically drync wine app recommends drinking by 2010. clearly this wine can be held for longer. will buy another case for investment.
