Acacia Chardonnay Carneros

Wine Details

Wine Description

(2008 Vintage) Wine Tasting Notes This wine offers aromas of apple, mango, fig and guava. The medium to full-bodied palate maintains impressive balance and flavor concentration, so it will hold its own with rich foods. The flavors of tropical and ripe stone fruits complement its acidity, and the finish is rich and long. You will love this bright and crisp Chardonnay that is perfect for summer afternoons spent with friends out on the patio. Enjoy it with seafood salads, tarragon chicken and coconut shrimp.

easy. thin side. I met this lady who said her brother is a wine maker. was very ethusiasitc in guiding me to a right wine pairing with beef. she said Pinot is good but merlot would be too big. got it in safeway. 13 dollars after 9 dollar discount.

(2006 Vintage) Mmmm, sugar and spice and everything nice! This 90 point wine has aromas of apricots, pears, apples and nutmeg. However, the flavors are bursting with an initial sweetness upon mouth entry and then transition into a kind of holiday spice. It lingers in the mouth afterwards for at least a minute, continuing to evolve, blend and delight! Acacia goes fantastically with sea bass, rigatoni with shiitake mushrooms, or even lighter fare such as crab and mango salad.
