(From 2013 Vintage) A to Z Pinot Noir leads with aromas of cherries, raspberries, and blackberries, developing to iris, blueberries, strawberries and minerals. A beautiful attack has vibrant red fruit flavors and floral notes, then deepens with hints of blood orange and blueberry jam. Ripe tannins are balanced by perfect acidity and the mid-palate reveals spice, tobacco and earth notes adding richness and complexity. The finish is quite long which allows all the elements of the wine to come together and show the intrinsic balance and complexity of the 2013 Oregon vintage.
(From 2011 Vintage) This Pinot Noir is elegant and complex, with aromas of bing cherries, cranberries, red currants, raspberries and strawberries, and a combination of wild flowers; flavors that epitomize Oregon Pinot Noir. Juicy red fruit flavors open the palate and then evolve in the mouth to darker fruit flavors with spice and mineral overtones. The wine shows ripe tannins and a succulent texture that give definition and lift to the surprisingly long finish.
Very old world in style. Low alcohol, medium to low fruits, excellent acids and low tannins. Few signs of new oak. Good for food pairing: roast veal, mushroom risotto, roast chicken.
the wine seemed to be faulty although it is a screwcap - tight, dry, no fruitiness, character or length...so either it was faulty or I disagree with nearly everyone about this wine.
Light, smooth finish, very enjoyable. Somewhat fruity.
very good, would drink often, smooth and peppery
light...quite dry...minerally...mild fruit
hints of berries, smooth long finish
