Tropical Friuts of Pineapple, mango, kiwi and caramilk bars greet the nose- faint oaky aromas of vanilla. Palate was complex- lots going on. Velvety Creme- creme brulee. Mango gelato, tonnes of vanilla but without that mouth scratching woody popsicle stick stuff that sometimes goes hand in hand. The fruit was vibrant and fresh.
(From 2011 Vintage) Grapes are de-stemmed and pressed, then 90% of the juice is fermented in stainless steel and the remaining 10% in oak barrels. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation.
