The mid palate shows terrific focus, the finish balanced by impeccable tannin and acid structure. WINEMAKING The grapes were crushed into and fermented in open top potters, with regular pump overs three times daily to extract colour and tannin. The grapes were then pressed and the wine was transferred to tank and then racked to barrel of oak maturation. WINE SPECATOR INSIDER - JULY 9, 2008 Big, bold and expressive, with some unexpected transparency to the black cherry, raspberry, red plum and Asian spice aromas and flavors, lingering on the open-textured finish. The aftertaste just keeps coming. Drink now through 2015.—H.S. (hide)
