(From 2008 Vintage) Merlot planted in 1996 and some cabernet sauvignon in 1989, the rest of the vines planted in 2004, are from our own vineyards and are supported by trellis, and simple royat pruned. The soil is quite stony, part franc-calcareous, part franc-clay. Grapes with a yield of 2.500Kg/h. are hand harvested and stored in refrigerated container, cooled down to 4 degrees before going through the selection table. Fermentation at 22-26°C. Malolactic and “batonnage” in barrels. Fourteen-month ageing in 60% new French oak barrels and 40% in second year use. Bottled in June 2011. 14,5° alcohol and 3,39 ph.
