(2004 Vintage) Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2006! 100 % Falanghina. Pale yellow colour. Offers a rich and intense aroma of fruit with hints of apple, pineapple, quince and pear. It is fresh and clean in the mouth with excellent acidity, good structure and a floral finish. The wine is aged on its lees in stainless steel but sees no oak. Food pairings: A wine for the whole meal equally at home with hors d'oeuvres, soups, fish dishes, cold dishes, buffalo mozzarella and fresh cheeses.
International Wine Cellar(2007 Vintage) Bright gold. Ripe, almost candied fruit aromas of peach, melon and orange marmalade are complicated by white flowers but could use more lift. Fat, ripe and floral in the mouth, but with better acidity and cut than the nose suggests. Quite open and ripe, with a noticeable herbal quality on the moderately long, uncomplicated finish.
