(From 2009 Vintage) Soft and plush, the Stoneleigh is pleasant and very easy to drink. Adorned with fresh fruit and floral aromas, it goes down smoothly, without the bite of acidity found in many Pinots in this price range. Pairs well with game birds, and many pork dishes. Winemaker's Notes

This wine has a deep, ruby red hue. The bouquet is fragrant, with black cherry, raspberry and red plums overlaid with savoury toasty spice. The palate is ripe with dark, red berry fruit flavors. This wine is soft and supple with lingering fruit sweetness balanced by fi ne integrated tannins. Best enjoyed with succulent red meat dishes, such as spring lamb, duck, veal or game.
