Siduri Pinot Noir Willamette Valley

Wine Details

Pinot Noir

Wine Description

(From 2013 Vintage) Siduri's Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is designed to be the estate's most approachable Oregon Pinot. It shows a particularly beautiful balance of red fruits, acidity, and tannins.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2008 Vintage) Medium ruby, color, deep, black cherry aromas with spice and pepper; ripe and rich...some tannin and great cherry finish; good structure and balance. A bigger style with delicious black cherry and spice.

  • Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines
Siduri's priceworthy offering avoids the wiry, lean tendencies of its lower-priced peers from Oregon and, instead, offers a nicely fruited, moderately rich blending of characteristics in a wine that is impeccably balanced without being tart. Its keen and energetic focus makes it into a stellar selection alongside poached salmon or veal amandine now and over the next couple of years. GOOD VALUE
