(2013 Vintage) Ruby color with hints of violets. An important feature of this vintage are the distinctive aromas displaying fresh red fruit such as stawberries and plums, as well as its well known aromas of liquorice, anis and a touch of vanilla, chocolate and champignon. Perfectly balanced with ripe, fresh tannins and a long refreshing finish.
1st impression, smells like nail polish remover. ate with steak. light, evaporates when it hits the tongue. has a bold aftertaste. warms the throat. peppery, typical cab flavor,lacking body however.
solid. syrupy fruit nose, but more sophisticated in mouth. low tannins. depth. nice bit of funk. cedar. good drink.
