Wine Details

Wine Description

Brilliant Purple in color with rich aromas of blueberries, violets and new leather rising from the glass. Comes off as rich yet elegant but with an animal hint to it that really tempts you to take that first sip. First impression in the mouth is of black currant and vanilla but then as it hits your mid palate it explodes with ripe raspberry fruit and an earthy minerality that leaves you feeling refreshed. The finish is super long and reminiscent of the raspberry fruit on the mid-palate.

(2006 Vintage) Deep ruby-red. Sexy aromas of dark berry preserves, cinnamon, clove, cured tobacco and anise. Round, fleshy, cherry-vanilla and dark chocolate flavors are enlivened by notes of baking spices and smoky minerals. Open-knit and gently sweet, displaying minimal tannins and finishing with very good lift and lingering chocolate and spice notes. This aged in 20% new French oak.
