(From 2013 Vintage) A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris was co-fermented to produce this first arrival of White and Grey. This premier offering has some interesting complexity, more savory and herb than fruit salad. The nose offers hints of lily, peach and pear with a flinty edge. The palate opens with pink grapefruit, some tight acid and fig on the mid palate. There is an ongoing herbal note, with aspects of thyme and basil, and a decent vein of minerality. The wine finishes with granny smith apple and key lime pie, with a snappy tautness.
