As a range, they reflect the warmth of the climate and the quality that can be produced from such ideal viticultual conditions. This wine has intense ruby-red color and the nose is packed with layers of caramel, cinnamon, candy and hints of mint, with a prevalence of fruit over the American oak. This spicy, full flavored wine, with good body, fruit and firm tannins has an engaging and long finish. Also recommended for mid term cellaring. (hide)

(2014 Vintage) There's minerally freshness to the ripe dark plum, blackberry and cherry flavors, with peppery hints. Well-structured and crisp midpalate, featuring Asian spice and black fig notes on the finish.

(2006 Vintage) Bright purple. Sexy, oak-spiced raspberry and blackberry aromas offer the clarity, intensity and visceral appeal of a $50 Napa wine; subtle floral and herbal qualities build with air. Fleshy and sweet, with deep dark berry liqueur flavors, no obvious tannins and a long, sappy finish. For fans of lush, jammy, fruit-driven wines, this is an absolute no-brainer.
