Wine Description

(2012 Vintage) All of our fruit is harvested in the cool, early morning hours by hand. After a careful sorting, the grapes are either whole cluster pressed (Chardonnay) or cold soaked for three to five days (Pinot Noir). Small-lot fermentations using a combination of culture and native yeasts found in the vineyard and winery ensure both authenticity and distinctiveness in all of the wines. A careful matching of coopers, forests and toast levels to individual lots ensures more distinctiveness and balance in the final blends.

(2003 Vintage) This clean but uninvolving wine is impossible to fault for error other than its obvious lack of fruity substance, and its essential smallness directs it accordingly to near-term service with lighter fish and chicken fare.

(2005 Vintage) Very much keyed to fresh apples with mild oak spice and hints of mineral off to the side, this clean-as-can-be middle-weight wants for just a bit more concentration and depth to win higher award, but its brisk fruit and balance make it a pleasant partner to simply broiled fish all the same.
