(2013 Vintage) Ruby red in color, the nose the Pèppoli 2010 is characterized by notes of cherry well mixed with chocolate and vanilla , made from refining in wood. In the mouth the wine has its own characteristics of the Sangiovese . The tannins are soft and silky , good is the aftertaste persistence.
the ripe, round, dry, full palate siggests class and sophistication, and the black pepper, black cherry, meaty, smoky, plummy fruit backs up the supposition. expect fine acidity (great with food)
tannins not too dry goes good with lamb might be good with sharp cheese.
nice nose medium drinkable out of bottle. We like it.
ash with a hint of salt. nice finish
light and spicy after palette
