(2010 Vintage) Luigi Bosca Malbec is of an intense ruby red color, with aromas of coffee beans, vanilla, tobacco, ripe red fruit and some spiced notes. Well-structured, with an ample volume in the mouth, soft and sweet tannins and a balanced acidity that makes it pleasant to drink. Its finish is fruity and very elegant.
Wine Library TV - 11/3/2010Rating: 88 #3; COLOR-dark; NOSE-this is so fruity and heavily jammed; blackberry jam; a little pepper and coffee; floral as well, but this is definitely fruit driven; PALATE-dark chocolate flavor coming through; not bad; really well made; good structure; a little black tea leaf component; dark fruit (blackberry) mixed with some red fruit (cranberry); the floral component on the nose disappears and the mid-palate is ok.
Light transparent purple color. Strong alcohol aroma, but nice bouque. Smooth fruity flavor; slightly watery. Light after-taste, minimal tannins.
The taste of this particular bottle is weird to me. Not sure if this is a skunked bottle, but I don't like the aftertaste.
beppi - full-bodied and smooth with an almost sweet, fruit-forward blast followed by notes of coffee
Delicate smooth Malbec. Can't wait to open the other bottles in the coming years
