(From 2009 Vintage) Aromas of parchment coffee berries, cracked peppercorn and shiso leaves exude from the glass. Succulent red currants, cassis and dark cherries lure one in, and deliver a smooth, decadent finish with hints of raw cacao, cigar box, pavement and bramble crostata.
(From 2010 Vintage) Aromas of parchment coffee berries, cracked peppercorn and spring ﬂowers exude from the glass. On the palate, there are dense berry fruits, licorice and bittersweet chocolate that swirl and eddy with succulent red and black currants. A nice balanced wine with bright acidity, assertive oak with ample but, rounded tannins and a lingering ﬁnish. Leviathan is a rich, full wine with vibrant texture.
