Joseph Drouhin Chablis 1er Cru5 Ratings
Wine & SpiritsRating: 91/100 - As reviewed by Wine & Spirits Magazine on 10/09. Reticent at first, this yields little beyond hints of spice and flecks of minerals. The spice broadens with air, the wine still relatively light in weight but with a delicate richness that sustains it. Not for now: This needs ten years of age before it will show itself, but all indications are that it will be lovely. Drouhin owns 3.5 acres in this cru and has farmed it under biodynamics since 1999.
