(From 1998 Vintage) Moderately dark ruby red in color, the Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of cherry, blueberry with a hint of orange rind and violet. The bouquet is a dark complex of tar, tobacco, cedar and chocolate oak. Showing ripe and velvety soft tannins supported by good acidity, this wine is delicious now with grilled or roasted red meats and red-sauced pasta dishes and will develop additional complexity with bottle aging.
well structured full bodied but smooth cab that we tried at j gilberts. worth drinking again. similar to chateau st. Jean
My go-to weekday affordable & satisfying Cab Sav of 2009/2010. Everyone I have served this wine to has enjoyed it.
