The 1998 vintage shows signs of youthful tannins and tenacity, but the overall balance ensures a long- lived wine. Enjoy this solid Cabernet Sauvignon from Heitz Wine Cellars. (hide)

The 2007 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant, classic wine. Well-integrated with lovely hints of ripe blueberries and raspberries, this wine follows through on the palate with an inner sweetness, almost like melted chocolate, yet it has a well-focused acidity on the finish. Truly one of the most consistent wines in today’s marketplace, Heitz Napa Cabernet is flavorful and direct, tried-and-true, and it has an incredible following. This vintage is ready to enjoy now, but it will also merit further cellaring if you like a touch more silkiness to your Cabernet Sauvignon.
