Wine Description

(From 2010 Vintage) Our Napa Valley Cabernet encapsulates the freshness of a near-perfect growing season. Aromas of fresh-picked blackberry and cassis abound from this lively wine. A beautiful, inviting wine that effortlessly balances classic Cabernet richness with silky tannins on the palate. This is a quintessential Cabernet Sauvignon through and through — at once charming and complex.

Winemaker's Notes

The 2007 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant, classic wine. Well-integrated with lovely hints of ripe blueberries and raspberries, this wine follows through on the palate with an inner sweetness, almost like melted chocolate, yet it has a well-focused acidity on the finish. Truly one of the most consistent wines in today’s marketplace, Heitz Napa Cabernet is flavorful and direct, tried-and-true, and it has an incredible following. This vintage is ready to enjoy now, but it will also merit further cellaring if you like a touch more silkiness to your Cabernet Sauvignon.

(From 1997 Vintage) Rating: 0/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Showing some aromatic evolution and freshness, this iconic wine from a stellar vintage is very serious. Weighty yet stylish, it has flavours of coffee and blackcurrant pastilles, and still youthful tannins. Very good wine but nowhere near its peak yet.
