Gilbert Cellars Allobroges

Wine Details

Wine Description

(From 2009 Vintage) Deep garnet color and pretty tasty at opening. It had pepper, pencil shavings, blackberry, blueberry, a nice mouth feel, slightly dry, with dark fruit and cola on the finish. Balanced and tasty.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2011 Vintage) The 2011 Allobroges is voluptuously textured and ripe, with a medium-bodied, layered and pure feel on the palate. Loaded with ripe red and black fruits, mulled spices and assorted dried herbs.
