Gilbert Cellars Allobroges

Wine Details

Wine Description

(From 2010 Vintage) Ripe aromas of blackberry, plum, and late-season bing cherry deepen and soften with time in the glass as subtle aromas of sage, smoke, and baking spice begin to make their way forward. The palate is firm but balanced, with excellent length.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2011 Vintage) The 2011 Allobroges is voluptuously textured and ripe, with a medium-bodied, layered and pure feel on the palate. Loaded with ripe red and black fruits, mulled spices and assorted dried herbs.
