(From 2009 Vintage) Bright, ruby red in color. The bouquet opens with ripe, dark cherries, violets and plums, complemented by a hint of spice. This wine has great structure and the palate is typically rich and full with the characteristic fine, supple tannins of the vintage.
violets and sweet dark berries with hints of clove. to taste mouthwatering sweet raspberry syrup. highbury say: Description Made from 100% Sangiovese. Shows excellent color and richness for a Sangiovese, with aromas of sultana, coffee, toasty oak and vanilla bean. Full-bodied, with masses of fruit and chewy tannins. The concentration and depth of fruit leave me speechless. A blockbuster. Best after 2014." 99 Points, Wine Spectator.
