(From 2011 Vintage) The palate is very concentrated with spicy red berry fruit. There is a lot of maceration here, while the finish is sinewy and could do with more finesse.
90 points Jay Miller (Wine Advocate): ...sourced from younger vines and aged in French oak for four months. Dark ruby-colored, it emits an enticing perfume of mineral, violets, black cherry, and blackberry. On the palate it reveals an elegant personality, savory, spicy flavors, good depth, and a fruit-filled finish. Drink: now-2013. (2/09)
