(2010 Vintage) The nose opens with sweet dark tobacco and ripe black cherries. This medium body Cabernet Sauvignon tastes of baked black cherry tart, ripe blackberries and wet stone. A long lingering nish shows well integrated round tannins. Drink now through 2017.
Initial nose was a bit jarring after an old Pinot noir. However, this is surprisingly nuanced for the price. Make sure to give it some air prior. Nose of bananas, coconut, dark chocolate, dark fruits, vanilla bTypical notes of 2007 California Cabernet: dark, brooding flavors with leather and chocolate. Medium tannins and acids. Excellent with dark chocolate. Great value for he price and good cellaring potential.
complex and tasty! very good with steak.
