2007 Duckhorn Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Wine Description

The product of a near-perfect growing season, this is one of the most complex and mouthfilling renditions of our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon to date. Blended to showcase the rich diversity of great Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, it brings together grapes from some of the valley’s most acclaimed winegrowing appellations and includes a mix of mountain and valley floor fruit. Aromas of ripe currant, spearmint, marzipan and tobacco lead to intense flavors of blackberry and black cherry, all supported by a subtle framework of French oak, which adds nuance, depth and dimension to the finish.

  • Background
Cabernet Sauvignon was first produced at Duckhorn Vineyards in 1978, the same year we introduced our Three Palms Vineyard Merlot. As is our tradition, the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of several individual vineyard lots, utilizing exceptional fruit from our own estate vineyards and from some of the finest independent growers throughout the Napa Valley. The final wine is a classic expression of the Napa Valley itself, reflecting the unique microclimates and soils of the entire appellation.
