Curran Grenache Blanc

Wine Description

(2009 Vintage) Grenache Blanc is relatively rare in the United States, with fewer than 100 acres planted nationwide. Curran's version opens with scents of fresh white spring blossoms (elder flower). This wonderful aromatic overture leads you to a bright, vibrant, refreshing pale straw wine, bursting with exuberant fruit and just a touch of vanilla.

(2006 Vintage) Light straw. Ripe pear and peach scents are energized by gentle spices and minerality. Full and fleshy, with ripe orchard fruit and melon flavors sharpened by white pepper and clove. Expands and deepens on the persistent, pliant finish. I'd drink this on the young side.
