(2013 Vintage) The Badia a Coltibuono Riserva, our most classic wine, is made exclusively from autoctonous grapes. It is loved by wine aficionados worldwide and is considered to be a true emblem of the Chianti territory. As a testimony to its long history and traditions, the estate is the proud possessor of a unique patrimony of old Riserva wines which date back as far as 1937. Unfortunately wines preceding this vintage were lost during the Second World War. - See more at: http://en.coltibuono.com/badia-a-coltibuono-1/wine/badia-a-coltibuono-riserva/2011#sthash.oB9AoWZC.dpuf
Great example of everything that can go right in a Chianti. Fruity nose, very pleasant without being too lush. Medium to light body. Not complex, but just fun to drink. Nice dark cherry notes.
Very nice chianti. Earthy nose with lovely ripe berry tones. Fruit on the palate, followed by dry tobacco. Just lovely. Feels light but has body.
maybe wait a little bit but good tbl wine when there's a lot to choose from & wanna sample the tables offerings
really nice and smooth chianti. lighter and more drinkable than the riserva. great wine.
so light and fruity. easy to drink and fun.

Ken's Wine Guide(2005 Vintage) This bright ruby wine opens with a very bright cherry bouquet with hints of oak and pepper. On the palate, this light to medium bodied wine is round, juicy, savory, with soft plum and berry flavors....
