Chateau Joanin Becot Cotes de Castillon
Wine Description
(2008 Vintage) A plump, fleshy style, with loganberry, blueberry and plum fruit kissed by sweet spice and judicious toast notes on the medium-weight finish.

International Wine Cellar(2005 Vintage) Good red-ruby. Jammy blueberry, espresso, licorice, mocha, menthol and nutty oak on the nose. Fat, rich, deep and sweet but with nicely integrated acidity giving the wine shape and firmness. Unusually powerful for this Cotes de Castillon wine, which really coats the palate on the aftertaste. Has a firm acid/tannin spine for slow evolution in bottle.
