(From 2012 Vintage) From Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes. Fermentation with the skins by temperature control in stainless steel tanks. Aging in oak barrels for 6 months. Another 3 months refining in bottle.
(From 2010 Vintage) Deep garnet black color. Aromas of chocolate nuts, honeycomb, and dried berries with a supple, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a tangy mixed berry, cocoa and earth finish. Ripe and nice.
wait another year. still young. nice legs but no depth. need to really aerate it.
not bad for the price. pretty heavy. good with pizza or beef.
light red wine. pleasant bouquet. no aftertaste.
quite dry light very acidic
