(2007 Vintage) Cherry, earth, and orange skin aromatics - great texture and ripeness. Lingers enticingly with a hint of mocha on the finish.
Bridlewood takes advantage of Monterey County's long growing season to generate the tropical fruit profile found in their Chardonnay. Malolactic fermentation is utilized in a portion (but not all) of the final cuvee so that some richness is added to the wine but brighter tones are still retained. From the winery: "This aromatic Chardonnay displays juicy tropical flavors mixed with hints of vanilla and spice. Flavors of lush pineapple, mango and tart pippin apple give way to clover honey and toasted sugar notes."
