(From 2013 Vintage) The grapes for this wine are made from 12 Ha -29.65 acres- of Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards and 32 Ha -79 acres- of very old Monastrell, with a very low yield. The grapes are harvested with small baskets to prevent bruising. The bunches are brought to triage tables where the best ones are selected. It spends 24 months in French and American new oak barrels where it gets a very typical complexity.
(From 2002 Vintage) Dark cherry red. Intense nose of ripe fruit (cassis) and comfit fruit mixed with sensations of toasted coffee and licorice which bring finesse and elegance. Strength, savory and opulence combine in the palate of this wine that little by little develops in the bottle. Not yet reviewed; 2008 vintage rated 94 points by both Wine Advocate and Peñín Guide, which wrote: (70% monastrell, 30% cabernet sauvignon) Colour: cherry, garnet rim. Nose: ripe fruit, creamy oak, cocoa bean, dark chocolate, powerful. Palate: flavourful, powerful, fleshy, spicy, ripe fruit.

Wine & Spirits(From 2002 Vintage) Rating: 91/100 - As reviewed by Wine & Spirits Magazine on 06/09. Oak scents of vanilla and coconut lead into generous fruit flavors in the middle of this wine. Candied cherry and fig notes fill the enormous structure. Untamed, this wine needs at least another three years to meld.
