(From 1997 Vintage) The 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon Knight's Valley is an excellent introduction to Beringer's style. It offers black fruits, a touch of licorice and cedar, a supple texture, medium to full body, and a soft finish.
(From 2012 Vintage) Aromas of blueberry, dark plum, baking spices, sweet liquorice with a hint of minerality. Ripe flavors of boyseberry and ripe blue fruit with supple tannins.
The wine that made Knights Valley famous. This has been even better in recent vintages than when it began, yet it has consistently shown a ripe, soft, appealing style. -Astorwines.com
