The 2007 Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas of black currant, star anise and wild mint. Plush flavors of blackberry, cardamom and bittersweet cocoa are accented by mouth-coating tannins and a luscious finish.
Tried with James Suckling Jan 2011. Amongst top 2 (of 8) we tried that night with Kapcsandy. Ripe, balanced fruit (raisins/sultanas), medium acidit, long finish. More complex and yet clean/balanced than other Cabs we tried that night
Smoothe on the pallet, great finish, low acidity/tannens, great with red meats and sea food
95 pts. full-bodied, velvety texture. hints of chocolate, bay leaf, licorice.
