Winemaker's Notes

(From 2012 Vintage) Clean, brilliant cherry red colour. The nose is very attractive, on morello cherry and ripe berry fruit aromas with a highly elegant floral touch. From a round and smooth attack with well-integrated tannins, the wine remains silky while developing a muscular structure on the palate, complex, substantial and full of fruit, with juicy fresh fruit flavours reminiscent of raspberry and black cherry.

rich, elegant bouquet, it unites several varietal appellations of the Bordeaux. region. (Merlot65% / Cab-Sauv20% / Cab-Franc15%) Through it's balance, roundness, and aging capacity, the fruits of nature, and the work if human hands, Mouton-Cadet Rouge expresses the richness and variety of the Bordeaux region. As it finishes with an old-world finish of cherry and oak, this wine makes a wonderful companion to a hearty pasta or like meal.
