An aromatic, elegant red wine, the 2007 Avignonesi Vino Nobile di Montepulciano reveals its class and impeccable upbringing from the moment it exits the bottle. Dressed in a deep garnet and ruby red robe, this stylish, yet powerful Tuscan red ingratiates with a multitude of charms. It offers an intense aroma of black cherry, flowers, and spice along with pleasing hints of mineral and earth tones – all of which intimate the ultimate depth and power this aristocratic red will wield. On the palate, the medium to full bodied 2007 Avignonesi Vino Nobile expands to reveal additional flavor and weight as well as a core of ripe tannins that will undoubtedly hold it in perfect stead for a decade or more to come. With aeration, hints of chocolate and fine Florentine leather also emerge to meld with the wine’s polished fruit and spice.

The estate's 2006 Vino Nobile di Montepuciano is especially round and harmonious in this vintage. Ripe red cherries, leather, licorice and spices come together in this soft, accessible Vino Nobile. The finish is long, perfumed and quite pretty. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2014.
