(From 2011 Vintage) Sour cherry and forest floor aromas translate into bright red fruit on the palate, with an earthy-mushroomy mid-palate and a stony, slightly saline finish.
(From 2013 Vintage) The nose prickles with warm five-spice underlain with cooler, saltier aromatics of sea breeze and sweetgrass. The palate opens quite suddenly, revealing a juicy core of fluid, slick blue fruit and tannin of uniquely fine grit. The finish is at times warm and cool, maintaining tight, tangy focus through the back palate. This wine will begin to unwind with a minimum of two years' aging.
