This was my first taste of a red zin. (Silly Californian...) And I didn't like the white zins I had before. -- Many say this is close to a cabernet. So I had to try. -- But I'm not interested.
syrupy sweet and lacking acid and body - didn't even keep it for cooking.
full bodied spicy well balanced tannins obvious easy to get
loved it. served it at dinner party. big hit.
hints of plum and pepper spice
Average Zin. A hint of cough medicine.
nice spicy flavor, medium body
low acid high alcohol peppery
Absoltuely awesome zin.
