Produced from 20 year-old vines in the Maipo Valley, this wine is matured in American oak barrels for eight months. It shows an intense ruby-red color, with a fruity aroma of black fruits, plums and herbs pleasantly combined with notes of vanilla, cloves and spices from the barrel. On the palate, it is a medium-bodied wine, expressive and complex with a lingering finish.
Decanter(2002 Vintage) Rating: 3/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Good intense dark fruit aroma, very good cassis, richness and concentration, a classy touch of oak; fine, well-sustained tannins and strucutre. Drink up to 2009.
