Veramonte Primus The Blend Colchagua Valley

Wine Description

Lightly herbal but also showing quality berry, cassis, grilled meat and a light, leafy accent. Bordeaux-like in style, with ripe berry and plum flavors along with a dose of herbs. Confident, controlled wine that doesn't overdo it. One of the best, if not the best.

Winemaker's Notes

"Inky ruby. Fresh red and dark berries on the nose. Lively raspberry and blackcurrant flavors are firmed by tangy minerals and given depth by dark chocolate, picking up fine-grained tannins with air. A refreshingly pure blend, with very good finishing cut and persistence..." IWC 04/09
